Bedrock for Joomla setup guide (part 4)

This is Part 4 of the Bedrock for Joomla Template guide which details suffixes for all elements of the site. This assumes you have gone through the previous guides and also have checked out the FAQ.

Suffixes in Chimera are the same as module suffixes - Open up your article manager in your Joomla backend and create a new article or open an existing article. A new section in the right called Chimera Parameters will now be available. "Chimera Class Suffix is what you are looking for, add any of the values explained below as you please. To add more than one value just separate your values with a space e.g. "double portfolio".

Grid Box Size

[ single, double or triple ] This sets your article box sizes. The single size is default, and is the size set in your Chimera Admin Area Parameters. Double and triple sizes are calculated respectively according to the single size.

Portfolio Grid Box Layout

[ portfolio ] Create a framed image with title layout. Remember to set the "Show Heading" to yes and the "Show Info Block" to no - this will style the box correctly.

Live Grid Filtering

[ any text ] You can add any suffix value to multiple articles, for example add the suffix "trees" to a few articles, then make a new menu item - link URL type - and add #trees as the link URL. Now any articles with this suffix will filter when a user clicks on the created menu link. Try adding 3 different created suffixes with articles and menu links to test this out.

Featured Text Box Layouts

If you want to create any of your boxes with any of the featured text box layout styles as shown here, you can use any of the following suffixes:

Typography Extended

The Base Typography and the Media Content Styles are explained with "Code" descriptions on the respective Demo Site Pages. The various suffixes used for the Typography Extended" Paragraph Elements are as follows; please note these are added to paragraphs as classes (as shown on the demo) and not Chimera Article Suffixes.
