Upgrading your Kupo Slides Pro version

The Theme Joomla team is continually looking for ways to improve on our products. We provide you with free updates to your Kupo Slides Pro version which are available for download directly in the components back-end. The steps to upgrade your extension are outlined here.

To upgrade your Kupo Slides Pro version follow these easy steps:

• In your website's administrator section, go to Components -> Kupo
• Click on the Check Version / New Version button. This will show a popup of the changelog as well as the necessary download links for the upgrade.
• Right at the top of the popup you will find the upgrade links. Make sure to download the correct version depending on your Joomla! version.
• Make sure to backup your current Kupo Slides Pro files especially if you made any css changes as they might get overwritten. This actually goes for any 3rd party extension you have running on your website.
• Once you have saved the download locally, extract the zip file and upload the contents to the base directory of your Joomla installation directory and the relevant files will be updated.

**UPDATE: If you are running Joomla 1.6/1.7 you can now use Joomla's built in Extension Update tool. Follow these steps instead (even easier than above):

• In your website's administrator section, go to Extension Manager -> Update and click Find Updates.
• You should now see 2 rows for Kupo - one is to update the component, the other is the module update.
• Check the box next to the Kupo Component and Module update rows and click Update.

If you do not see any rows in the table about Kupo Slides it means that you have upgraded from a version prior to 2.3.3 and you need to run these two SQL scripts. Note: you will only ever have to do this once (remeber to change the prefix jos_ to the prefix you set for your Joomla installation):
