Kupo Slides has been launched!

Kupo Slides ProSo for a few months now we have had a multitude of Theme Joomla members asking the number one question here on our mind here at the office "Where and When is Kupo Slides going to be ready?" Well the good news is that we have released Kupo Slides Pro and are now busy cleaning up the administration areas, writing the guides and optimizing all the code.

Kupo Slides was formerly known as Power Slide, due to us managing to build a large amount of major feature updates into a new release we decided to do a complete rework of the code, format and general way that the galleries and slides work.

  • Gallery template system
    Yes - built into the administration area you can install gallery templates and assign these template layouts to each different Kupo Slides module you have installed. Above this you can also further edit these templates by changing the colors and text within the template!
  • Advanced SEO Gallery Content Handling
    Unlike a lot of flash galleries out there that do not have the ability to index content for search engines, Kupo Slides has the ability to generate all the gallery information in optimized HTML built specifically for search engines.
  • Multiple Content Upload and Management
    Building galleries in the administration area is now really simple, you can upload multiple images and add all the relevant information for the gallery in a few easy steps, similar to the way you create galleries in Facebook.
  • Slideshow Thumbnails and Image Descriptions
    These can now be placed wherever you want to place them. Align the thumbnails on the top, bottom, left or right - same with the Image description. Even more to this you can also have the thumbnails popped inside or outside of a gallery.

I use Power Slide extensively on my website. Sometimes I find it slow to load. This, of course, may be due to the images being to large (although I try to keep them small whilst not losing too much quality), connection speed etc. I like the idea of the new system and will be waiting with baited breath for its release....

Yes, we are all very excited here at the office as well - the entire resize engine has been cleaned up so that should help with your images... just as a side note, you did optimize your images on your side - I know that helps a lot!

There are purchase and download links on both the product pages and download pages. So not sure why you cannot find a way to get Kupo.
