SEF Challenges + Support Ticket Status

I followed the instructions from the previous support ticket for SEF URL, and now the pages don't come up at all. There's a problem somewhere else if SEF URL are ON, Use Apache mod_rewrite is ON, and we're NOT adding suffix to URL with htaccess.txt renamed to .htaccess at the root.

Also, I'm curious to see where you guys are with the latest support ticket I submitted regarding the registration successful notification background and text colors (I suspect it's a CSS conflict somewhere - I just don't know where to look)...Please advise...tnx.

Just to let you know our support hours are Mon till Fri :8am till 5pm GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) unless there are emergencies of course!

I replied to your second request regarding Joomla notifications - just for anyone out there - the CSS styling for this is usually: 

.error .notice .message


in your CSS files.

As for your first question, I am looking into that now and will revert shortly!

Sorry about the Sunday request (I normally don't work on Sundays either!). Since I don't know where you guys are located on the planet, Sunday here in the states is Monday elsewhere in the world. Plus, I wanted to have the ticket submitted so it'd be one of the first things you'd see on Monday...(I guess that part worked!)

Anyway, I made the changes in the CSS and things appear to be working just fine. Thanks a lot - I do appreciate it!

I'll look to hear back from you when you've got an answer for the SEF URL challenge.

I just turned SEF and mod_rewrite on in the back-end administration and the pages are showing fine as well as the css is displaying correctly...or am I not seeing the missing link here?

I see the .htaccess SEF in Joomla! solved your issues - we are investigating the non- .htaccess issue (to see if it is a global Joomla! bug or just local)...
