Advert modules

I am trying to activate the 3 advert modules to display some simple text from an article. Things like special offers or similar. I have tried a wrapper but that does not seem to work. Does anyone have other ideas.

This is my first commercial site using Joomla and I need to get it right. Many thanks.

Hi There, glad you getting your fingers into joomla!

In your administration area, try creating a new module (HTML or any of the default modules that display something) and assign it to the advert position. Make sure the module is published!
Alternatively, you can use any of the module positions as on this page.
If you still having hassles drop me a mail with a super admin account and I will set this up for you
