menu border showing, throughout slideshow

I installed the free version and it nicely shows me all my pics. The only thing I don't like is that the borders of the Joomla site-template I uploaded it in still shows. Probably more a template question...but still will post it here, maybe you can give me a good answer? How can I get rid of the menu-border that joomla-template (white microphone) provides me with in the background?

usually you can place a suffix on the module - then in your template css you can add style to that suffix - like "nobox" - then in your css you would add styling like: 

.module-nobox {border-none}

But this is all a bit vague as I do not know your template and the specifics, but thats a direction to start - also of course check with the template provider!
