Google and SEO

Finally I am trying to optimise my site. I was wondering if there was an instruction sheet as to how to optimise images so that Google can see it. I tried to get a quick report on my site from www.woorank.com and it came back telling me that there were no images on the site. There's lots! Is it possible to optimise the images so that Google sees them?

Lumo replied alt and title tags

you need to check your images, firstly to make sure they are optimized size specific for web, then to check they have alt or title tags for SEO. Check this article out:

Thanks for that. I was wondering if there was anything specific to Kupo? For example, I create the categories, upload the files and publish the categories. Where do I put the tags, description, etc? Or do I have to do this directly in the html code? If so, how do I do that so that the categories and galleries remain unaffected to the user?

Lumo replied Did you add the image details

Did you add the image details in the admin area? Title, Description, Link (if required)

The image tags will be generated automatically from this, there is nothing you need to do... Also the SEO is doubled up as it is generated in tags and paragraphs (which are hidden from view, but picked up by SE) - this is also done automatically.
