Yet another IE issue? Not sure...

This is tiresome. As well as the carousel "show/hide" link, the picture title, and the "read more" link all being missing, now i get and "error on page" in IE if i have more than one gallery published. No such problem in FireFox and i've check everything twice and cannot find anything in my backend which i can see as being the cause.

I'd like to use your powerslide gallery because of it's ability to link pics to url's. So far everything seems to be working, if not perfectly, in FF and Chrome. I really hope that some of these IE problems can be resolved.

Lumo replied check your descriptions and titles

There are quite a few factors that can be causing the issues you talking about - what I think it is: check your slide descriptions and titles - turn off your WYSIWYG editor - and remove any

<p><b> (and similar) tag type elements.

You see I recon your IE is seeing one of these and throwing a JS error related to that! That being said, if it does not help, send me access to your backend and I will have a closer look!

I sent you an email reply at the beginning of this week - to which you never responded. I created an admin account for you to access the site, but i see you've never logged on.

I did as you suggested, but was unable to locate any of the similar tags. Perhaps you could be more specific as to where exactly i should look for these.

Lumo replied start again

We are very busy at the moment and some of our staff if on leave, so sorry for the delay... you need to disable all your galleries and slide shows - so there is nothing there.

Create a single slide, in a single gallery - with NO descriptions and see if that shows up in the front end. If it shows then there is something peculiar in your content of your main slides. I will log on to your server Monday morning if you not getting anywhere and have a closer look myself.

Lumo;

I understand you are very busy and i appreciate what time you can spare for this problem.

I did as you suggested. When i have just one category (gallery) published, IE functions, although not well. IE will open that one gallery, but the first slide will not link - subsequent slides will link correctly. If i add a second or third gallery, IE will not open any of them. I have no descriptions in any of the slides.

As i mentioned, i have created an admin account for you and have sent the log on details via email previously.
Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. This linking business is a problem i've been trying to resolve for quite some time now.

Thanks
