Theme Joomla Modules

Unable to get Kupo Pro working

I have tried this component / module on 2 websites and also tried it with "clean templates". The module shows fine, the component appears to work but apart from the thumbnails, no images on any of the sites. Where I set it up for two images, I see two thumbnails but the system does not seem to move between them nor produces any large images. It's all pretty dead in fact! I have sent you a more detailed email through your contact system. I am at a loss as to what to do next. Any help gratefully appreciated - on paper this looks the biz!

This is an isolated issue and is being dealt with directly :)

As yet i have had no contact from you - can you email me asap with some ideas. I have at the moment implemented Frontpage from joomlworks which is running fine but only in js mode. This might imply some sort of mootools conflict. I really like th elook of kupo pro so hoping a solution exists.

Lumo replied PHP script missing

Looks like you missing something on your server side:

For the file_get_contents() issue you need to enable allow_url_fopen in your host server configuration.

I have added the appropriate code to the php.ini file and the warning has disappeared from the backend. HOWEVER, the slide show is still not working - no images are delivered when displayed on the home page. You can see this by visiting http://www.jabber-torbay.co.uk - go to the very bottom of the page, I have enabled it so you can see what is happening. The module is working, just no images. If you want superadmin access let me know

Lumo replied check your image links in source

If you check your image links in source:

http://www.jabber-torbay.co.uk/modules/mod_kuposlidespro/resizer.php?full_image=1&max_height=250px&max_width=835px&stretch_thumbnail_image=0&stretch_image=0&imgfile=http://www.jabber-torbay.co.uk/images/kupo/header1.jpg

You will see a few server issues. Try changing the method from absolute to relative, as your server is not allowing direct URL access...

susu replied Kupo is not showind demo images

I'm very new to Joomla. I have the module installed but nothing appears on the front end. Just blank space. Was I suppose to install a component as well?

Lumo replied title showing and version

Is at least the module title showing? You need to install the component if you using the Pro version. The Free version is just a module.
