Link problem with Kupo Free XML

Im using Kupo Slides Free and Im facing a link problem when I edit the <link></link> in mod_kuposlidesfree.xml of the sample. When I refresh the page it doesnt show the slides. Ive noticed that when I put the character "&" could be the problem. For example:

<link>index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1&Itemid=2</link>: 
DOESN'T SHOW THE SLIDES
<link>index.php?option=com_contentview=articleid=1Itemid=</link>: 
SHOW THE SLIDES, HOWEVER, THE LINK IS INCORRECT

You actually are not going to get a work around for that, as the XML markup reserves that character. Your best bet is to enable the Joomla SEO and then use the SEO URL's as these will not have the & character.

Alternative to that would be to get the Base or Pro versions - as these pull the links from tables and are pre scripted to handle UTL issues like you are describing.

There is a fix for this. Please download the latest version of Kupo Slides Free from our downloads section.

Then when setting up your links in the XML file make sure your ampersands are like & amp; (without the space in between) for example: 

index.php?option=com_content& amp;view=article& amp;id=1& amp;Itemid=2


Just make sure to have your links like I have it above but without any spaces.
