Theme Joomla Modules

Images won't load in Power Slide

I'm trying to run a simple image rotator in the header area of a site. It works perfectly for the homepage template but the module stalls loading the content under the sub-templates. I'm not sure where the conflict is coming from as the two template's are essentially the same. The images are all in powerslide/images and they don't contain spaces. I tried running it in the default joomla template but it still wouldn't run. here. Here is the test site and works fine until you navigate to any of the other pages. I also tried running it with and without Mootools and still no change. I know it's likely something simple but would appreciate any help pointing me in the right direction. Sorry about the site it's more then a little rough still and trying to wrap my head around Joomla so I'm using a rather simple template atm.

fizz replied SEF urls not rewriting correctly

I found the issue. You have SEF urls turned on and it is not rewriting the urls correctly:
It is doing this:

http://solsource.kalvanna.com/index.php/contractor

When it should be something like this:

http://solsource.kalvanna.com/contractor/index.php

At the moment the html thinks it is in [site name]/index.php/ and when you add the images path because they are relative it makes it [site name]/index.php/images/powerslide/webelieve.jpg which does not exist. You can try setting the module parameter Thumbnail method to Absolute to see if that will sort. Joomla's built in SEF engine does not do a perfect job. I recommend using sh404sef. This is a great product and will correctly rewrite the urls (you can rewrite them yourself as well if you like).

Never realized I clicked that on, just thought Joomla handled urls funny. Thanks a million.

fizz replied Awesome

Glad you got sorted out
