Colour selector not working.
by mike 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
I've installed the theme on Joomla 1.5 and the colour selector doesn't seem to be working, anybody had this problem?
I haven't had any reply from my support tickets and e-mails to support seem to bounce back to me.
The theme is at nzmike.com at the moment (didn't want to leave it half done on the client's page).

Hi Mike...

I have responded via support - this is a usual problem which occurs usually with either server permissions errors or fixed / relative path errors to the Javascript control files. If you could send us a super admin user / pass - we will have a look.

As for the emails bouncing back to you from support - this concerns me - could you please mail the bounced back email to me? You can just add it to my support reply mail to you.

Thanks for the quick reply Lumo

I have sent you the super admin details through a webmail a/c.

The e-mails I sent earlier bounced back because of a 550 relay error (a settings conflict on my side - nothing to do with you guys.)

Thanks

Hello! good news (for us) about the bouncing emails

Can you check the file / folder permissions for these 2 files:

http://nzmike.com/templates/fusionlite/css/tjcontrols.css.php
http://nzmike.com/templates/fusionlite/js/styleswitcher.js.php

If you open the links above you will see you get a server error 500 – which means the file cannot be opened. You should see the file as the below example:

http://nzmike.com/templates/fusionlite/js/tips.js

(this is just an example, showing you the file opened and readable)

Hi Michael,

Went through it all - and permissions on your server down to the root template folder had to be set to CHMOD 755 all is fixed now

You can check this if anything else stops working in your Cpanel error log - very helpful - also shows other errors to keep your site sorted!
