resize.php issue
I tested powerslide pro on my local server and it works great!
But when I tried to upload my website online, I have a problem with it. It doesn't display my pictures:
When I disable "resize picture" it works
When I enable it, it does not
I checked the with the image url that powerslide makes and I have that message error:
Warning: getimagesize() [function.getimagesize]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /data/21/1/12/73/1990399/user/2175859/htdocs/Joomla/modules/mod_powerslidepro/resizer.php on line 38 Warning: getimagesize(http://www.infine-art.com/Joomla/images/powerslide/l1050298.jpg) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /data/21/1/12/73/1990399/user/2175859/htdocs/Joomla/modules/mod_powerslidepro/resizer.php on line 38 Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg() [function.imagecreatefromjpeg]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in /data/21/1/12/73/1990399/user/2175859/htdocs/Joomla/modules/mod_powerslidepro/resizer.php on line 85 Warning: imagecreatefromjpeg(http://www.infine-art.com/Joomla/images/powerslide/l1050298.jpg) [function.imagecreatefromjpeg]: failed to open stream: no suitable wrapper could be found in /data/21/1/12/73/1990399/user/2175859/htdocs/Joomla/modules/mod_powerslidepro/resizer.php on line 85 Fatal error: Call to undefined function notfound() in /data/21/1/12/73/1990399/user/2175859/htdocs/Joomla/modules/mod_powerslidepro/resizer.php on line 85
Any ideas ?
LumoMongo replied Yep, lots of ideas...
Firstly - make sure that the resizer.php is readable by your server, and that your server is allowed to run it - check with your hosting provider cause I think this could be causing the problem:
URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration
Then, also try set the thumbnail method in the module to absolute (or switch to relative) as this could be causing the problem...
Also make sure your image folders are writable so that the scripts can place the resized images (also the cache image folder)
tatatu replied Switched to relative and it works !
I don't know why it works on my local machine which is on absolute, but anyway, Thanks a lot !!! you are great
LumoMongo replied Definitely a live server thing...
You see your local host is most probably just a little less secure Glad you got sorted out!
