Problem with thumbails

Hello, I have a problem with the thumbnails... Sometimes I have thumbnails sometimes not.

See here (not in production)

I'm using AUTO thumbnails, I've nothing in /powerslidepro/thumbnails, is it normal?

Is the server required a gd gallery problem? Thanks

LumoMongo replied Looks fine...

All the thumbnails are showing the gallery you linked above....

boolzab replied Must ctrl+F5 to see them

Thanks for your answer again..
Strange because most of time it doesn't run..

When you go back with the browser, (IE) , the thumbnails are not on the gallery..
We must ctrl + F5 to have them. See here

LumoMongo replied Check for conflict issue

ctrl+F5 is a force refresh - which reloads your javascript and clears your cache... that is IE for you... you have a large amount of javascript and other modules in your site - one of them is most probably not agreeing in IE...

Try change the template back to standard Joomla template - and put the module on a page without any other modules - then you can see whether it is a conflict issue.

boolzab replied Same with Firefox...

And it's the same with the ja purity template even if all other modules are disable.

So I changed the module and turned off "auto-thumbnails", I put my thumb in the folder with the same name and it's the same too..

skash replied Absolute url method

Try change the Thumbnail method to Absolute Url in the module parameters as relative urls are giving you an issue at the moment because your site is sitting in a sub-directory

boolzab replied In a subfolder

Yes in a subfolder for the moment because the website wait to change with an old one.

I change this parameter and I've only the thumbs. Take a look here.

LumoMongo replied I think that could be the problem

Your in a sub directory - and your URL has dashes and dots and could cause issues with scripts (like our thumbnail creator script) - if you put the site under a direct address this could fix the issue.

Also you need to add "multimedia/sitelatouche1.5-v2/" in to your image path module parameter - as you are working off a sub directory - at the moment Power Slide is looking for images in your root directory - which is your main site.

boolzab replied i don t know what i must do...

If i put the path :
multimedia/sitelatouche1.5-v2/images/powerslide/
and multimedia/sitelatouche1.5-v2/images/powerslide/thumbnails/

I must change :
auto-thumnails or not?
Absolute or relative?

Thanks

LumoMongo replied Check the source

Easiest to look at the source of your page - you are confusing both methods - and using a sub site in a folder under and IP address (not direct domain) which is complicating everything...

In the source of your page (browser source) you can see the URL's being generated - and then you can find the correct method... if you still confused just send me a login and I will have a look...

boolzab replied Thanks, cos I'm lost

This website must be approved tomorrow (with a good slide, it will be good ...)
After the website will be in a domain so I hope no problem of paths.

The modules can be filtered "slide pro" to find it.

AND i don't have the CONTROLS showing with i choose multiple gallery !

Can I have your mail address to give you an admin user?
Thanks A LOT
