Powerslide: Problem using XML

I just installed the Powerslide v1.0.1 module and it worked just as I wanted, using the Folder Structure Method.

However, when I use the XML method, there are no images shown in the front-end. No error or message is displayed. I modified the mod_powerslide.xml file (in the mod_powerslide/xml directory), as specified in the documentation page of your website.

How can I solve this?

LumoMongo replied XML and your source code

Can you send me your XML and your source code for your page displaying the module? you can mail it to support[at]

I will have a look at that and drop it into our code to make sure it is all right

devvi replied Thank you for your quick response

I have mailed you the requested information.

LumoMongo replied Problem in image path

There was nothing wrong with your XML, the problem was in the module, where you set the image path, you need to put a / on the end of the pathway

Site paths and file names are case - sensitive (sometimes), and as a tip for all users - you should try and name files and folder paths with no spaces and no capitalization

EricSeven replied Several galleries on same page?

First of all "Bravo" for this HQ M/Cpnt and it good integration in J! (so many *#%£ù#..)
I definitely don't regret to bought it. Even with a prob I'm unable to find the solution.

Well, I would like to get several mod [galleries] on the same page, one mod [gallery] by article.
I tried by directory as with with manager.. nope. Thus, XML.

Given to these posts, i do as said:
=> one .xml for each gallery

Every thing looks well (name/path+"/"/folders-picts/etc...).
Indeed, with all tests I've made, its 100% ok with all configurations: different paths, with manager as by directory, as .xml.. etc.

But, still impossible to get several mod [galleries] on the same page. Only one (by one) appearing.

It may be because I've only ONE FOLDER "mod_powerslidepro", with severals .xml inside:
- mod_powerslidepro/xml/xxx.xml
- mod_powerslidepro/xml/yyy.xml
- etc.

My question is, do I necessarily have to create one Folder by Mod (gallery). I didn't test, coz in fact, gonna be loooong with all galleries I intend to put in place. As I the fact that client/user would have to re-load each time isn't great (even if light weight coding). Also, others "sliders" (mod) don't need to duplicate folder (just a re-name of ID). [I'm beginner in Joomla but i tested tha].

Or did i missed something ? (would prefer that)
Thank you.

LumoMongo replied Only one Power Slide Module per page

Thanks for all the positive words

Unfortunately I am the bearer of bad news - you can only have one single instance of the Power Slide Module per page on your site - due to the javascript restrictions...

We have been working on a workaround for this, and if you find a way - please let me know

What might work and what we are playing with (especially with XML) is duplicating the actual install module (like renaming it and installing it as SEPERATE modules, so you have mod_ps1, mod_ps2 etc)

Then in each module you would have your own XML and image folders! Only thing is, not sure how the Java will handle that...
