Loading multiple images into galleries

Hi, thanks for what is a great looking product, we are using this successfully in our artists site, and have just loaded it into our travel site.

I am trying to work out how to load a whole file of images, or at least several, into the galleries.

I understand how i can get lots of images in one go into the powerslide image folder, and how i can sort them into separate folders, but cannot work out when am setting up a new gallery in the component section how to get a whole file folder into the gallery...it seems to want me to load them 1 by 1?? and i cannot see where i might load them in the ftp. i am dealing with large numbers of images here so it would help to be able to do this.

Bad News = you have to create component gallery slides one by one - like you said...

Good News = in about a week we will have our latest release our (major release) which will allow for multiple image upload into component via file folder categories.

Believe me, it was not easy to make that, and we are in the process of cleaning up and stabilizing all of that right now.

Hello, I´m new here and I just bought your great module : Power slide and it´s great!!!
I have just that problem with downloading pics with multiple mode.
How can I download pics into the right folder with FTP?? Shall I create several folders for each component? Or just download them into .../images/powerslide/ ?
Please help?

All my pics lay on this folder (../images/powerslide/) and I just can´t get them into the different gallery components....

Glad you are enjoying Power Slide!

If you duplicate the module (for your different pages) and you create your different galleries in the admin component you can select which galleries to display in each instance of the module...

I would recommend uploading all images to the same folder and then setting them up via the admin component and selecting the galleries as above... hope that helps!
