Kupos Side Pro and sh404SEF Conflict

I'm having a spot of bother with the above co-existing.

I have been using Powerslide Pro for the longest time and figured it was a good idea to update to Kupos slideshow so I paid my money and downloaded, installed, configured and set up a new slideshow module. I wanted to test it first so instead of dropping it on the home page, I decided to put it on the "contact" page. When I went to check, there was nothing there. Thought that was odd so I went back and double checked. Everything seemed to be alright so I checked again and still nothing. I changed a few settings (jQuery, SEF on/off, absolute vs relative), found some interesting stuff but nothing that would get the slides to show. Noticing the SEF settings, I thought that there may be some SEF issue so I turned off sh404SEF. Tried my page again and Bingo it worked. Very strange. Turned sh404SEF back on and the module disappeared completely again.

Now when I changed the menu assignment to "home page" (which is where I want it) and left sh404SEF on it worked (I presume because the SEF and non-SEF urls are the same). However, because of the existing Powerslide module on the homepage, there was another issue. Powerslide didn't show at all and Kupos showed twice. I disabled Powerslide and now only one Kupos shows. So, I'm pretty much where I want to be right now BUT, I know that I can only use Kupos on my homepage which is not good because I would like to use Kupos modules on other pages to display other slideshows.

Other useful information:
My site is not in the root directory of my hosting account (i.e. it is in public_html/pantomime/) this seemed to be causing an issue with relative urls (slideshow images will not show if set to relative).

Kupo Slides Pro only allows one instance per page which is why it will not run along side Power Slide Pro (as it is essentially the same code).

Kupo should work with sh404sef. The URL Method has to be set to Absolute in the Kupo Extension Manager Settings (which you have done) when using SEF urls. Can you keep sh404sef enabled and display a Kupo module on another page other than the home page so that I can see what exactly is happening. Also tell me which page you are doing this to so that I can view it directly.

Hi Skashi

I've set it up so that the module that you will see on the homepage is also supposed to be on the "contact >> a million ways..." page. As you can see it shows on the homepage but not on the other page.

I am also using advance module manager to assign modules. However, even with that turned off it doesn't show.

Ok I went to the "contact >> a million ways..." page, viewed the source and the Kupo code is not there at all. This tells me that there is an issue with sh404sef not displaying the module code. If you set the Show Title to Enabled for your Kupo module and the title shows and not the module then there is an issue with Kupo, but if it does not show at all then there is another 3rd party extension preventing it from showing and you will need to speak to them about it.
