The galleries are stored and fetched in a data array - so it is built to have unlimited galleries - although of course the only limit would be the power of your server and your site / browser limitations, but the most I have seen so far is about 20 galleries

You can set the amount of columns as well, and the width and height of the gallery module - if the size of your gallery module does not fit all your galleries (say you have 12 galleries) then the javascript scrolls through the galleries as you mouse over the module - or you can just make the module bigger...
