DB function failed with error number 1054

Hi, after having installed the Power slide Pro v 1.3.0, I found always the same error when I want to save a new gallery :

DB function failed with error number 1054
Unknown column 'g.default_image' in 'order clause' SQL=SELECT m.* FROM dites_powerslide_gallery AS m ORDER BY g.default_image desc LIMIT 0, 100

What does that mean?

skash replied Component neeeds update

What this error means is that it is trying to show the gallery records and sorting it on a field that does not exist. This should have been handled between screens in the component so we do apologize for the inconvenience.

There is a temporary way to remove this error by clearing out your session and you do this by logging out and back in again to the administrator section.

However, I have updated the fixes to the latest version of Power Slide Pro so I will send you a download link to this shortly. You can just uninstall the component and install the new one as the module has not changed. Your galleries and images will still be intact

pango replied Works well now

Thank you very much. This a nice extension.
For me it will be perfect if this component have had the publishing parameters inside (which are in the module) and 2 buttons more to stop and start the slideshow.

skash replied Play/pause buttons

I am not 100% sure what you mean by having the publishing parameters inside the module?here is a link to a how-to to get play/pause buttons to work.

This is a feature that will be added to Power Slide 2.0 which is currently in its early development stage and will include a whole lot more features than ever!

pango replied component working independently

Sorry, I mean having the component working independently, so all the parameters which are in the module will be installed in the component. By this way, you just have to edit a new menu and that's all.
Thank you for the link to make the slideshow stop/start.

LumoMongo replied Updates in Power Slide 2.0

We will be putting a large amount of the module settings into the component area for Power Slide 2.0 - plus we hope to get a direct menu to gallery link with slide parameters as well

pango replied Waiting patiently for 2.0

For one year, I've used SmoothGallery module for Joomla! But the problem is the way to edit texts (titles and descriptions which need to be in another data). Power Slide Pro component using the Data Base, this is more simple to administrate. Very nice work.

LumoMongo replied Thanks

Power Slide is basically a highly advanced version of SmoothGallery
