can not see any images on Kupo Pro

We installed the com and the mod and used the multi image from the ftp tmp dir and all we can see is a grey box on our website where we have placed the module. We can see the arrows but no pictures. Please help or i would like a refund.

Hi There, before jumping to a refund, did you create galleries and slides in the extension component back end? From what you say above it sounds like you just uploaded images - could you please give me some more information, and if possible a login to your site so I can confirm setup and at lease see what you are talking about ;)

yes i used the "Generate content" from the component in the backend. under content management i have all my images and they are published

Lumo replied cool! so next...

ok great, then you could have a few issues - script or folder permissions on your server not allowing the images to show - check your page HTML (the page you showing the gallery on) and look for your image links - then open those directly in a browser, you see the image or get server issues?

If you cannot find this, mail me your URL and I will have a closer look ;)

i checked the permissions and the files are set to 755 and i can access the file via url (see below)

Lumo replied not exactly...

it seems that the resizer script is not running, this is your image link:

http://bandmautocraft.com/WebSite/modules/mod_kuposlidespro/resizer.php?full_image=1&max_height=280px&max_width=980px&stretch_thumbnail_image=0&stretch_image=0&imgfile=http://bandmautocraft.com/WebSite/images/kupo/1.png

I think more specifically the resizer script is not being allowed to run, this runs for each image; check the permissions on this file...

kilabyte replied ...

it was set to 644 i set it to 755 and still nothing...

Lumo replied still getting an error 500 on that page though...

your server is still not allowing the script to run, if you change the parameter to disable resizing of images you will see it should run fine... but you getting server error 500 on the resizer script page:

do you have cpanel or similar, so you can see logs as to why your server is blocking the script? also I recon you should ask your hosting provider - let me know...

also, any ideas on this one Skashi?

kilabyte replied ...

where is the option to disable resizing? i dont need my images resized in the first place

Lumo replied go to...

admin > component > kupo > extensions

click on the main installed template extension, parameters pop up...

Here you can change the sizing and the URL method (try that, might help)

kilabyte replied ...

now all i get is a spinning wheel
