Hope you enjoy the module, and salute to Joomla-addons for making such a nice simple gallery component.

I installed Easy Gallery and published it. Then this message could be seen : 'Image(s) not found! Please enter valid id(s) for the Image Id(s) field in the module parameters.'. So I entered an image id (with http:// and all). All I got was this message:

'You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near \'://xxxxxxx/images/xxx/xxx.jpg)\' at line 3 SQL=SELECT eg.* \nFROM jos_easygallery eg \nWHERE eg.id in (http://xxxxxxx/images/xxx/xxx.jpg)
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/sourcing/public_html/home/modules/mod_eg_ai.php on line 58'

I'm a noob, so I think it's just me, but I still need to find a way. Please help!

Check out the URL and the Guide
by Lumo 6 Months, 2 Weeks ago
You need to set the image id(s) parameter(s). This can be found by checking the URL link to your image when browsing a gallery category. The value will be the &cid value. for example if you click on an image in your gallery and check the URL that is generated:

QUOTE:
http://yourdomain/index.php?option=com_easygallery&act=photos&cid=1&Itemid= (in this case image id=1.)

So you would put 1 in the image Id(s) field. if you want to add more image id(s) you would seperate them with a comma:

e:g: 1, 3, 5

For full setup and instructions check the guide here. - you need to login to check the guide...

Explaining: TJ Easy Gallery AI module
by Lumo 4 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Hello!

You need to login to our site (Theme Joomla) in order to read the guide, once you are logged in then you can view the guide at:

http://www.themejoomla.com/view/setup-guides/index.html

It does not matter where you store the gallery images on your server, all that matters is how you reference them in the module settings... check answer number three below. Here your answers:

(1) a suffix for the module is for individual module styling - you don't need to fill this in...
(2) link to image = opens the gallery image / link to category = opens the category the image is in.
(3) check the gallery image URL (web address in the address bar) - open up a gallery image from the front end of your site and check the URL and write down the numbers after &cid. Fill that in....

Good luck and happy coding, send me your URL and I will have a look if you are still stuck!
